Deleting your data
Last updated: August 19, 2026
This page explains how to remove data RAMP AI holds about you or your workspace, including data obtained from connected platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Google and others. Every route below is available to you directly — you do not need to ask permission to disconnect an account.
1. Disconnect a single connected platform
This is the fastest route, it is immediate, and it is self-service:
- Sign in to your RAMP AI workspace.
- Go to Settings → Integrations.
- Find the platform (for example Meta (Facebook & Instagram)) and choose Disconnect.
Disconnecting permanently deletes the credentials we hold for that platform — the access token, and any account selection stored with it, such as which Facebook Page or Instagram business account you chose for publishing. The record is deleted outright, not flagged as inactive, and RAMP AI stops making any call to that platform on your behalf.
Content already brought into your workspace before you disconnected (for example a report an agent wrote, or a message it posted in your workspace) stays in your workspace until you delete it or delete the workspace. Anything RAMP AI published to your own social account stays on that account and is yours to remove there.
2. Remove RAMP AI from Facebook
You can also revoke access from Facebook's side, which works even if you cannot sign in to RAMP AI:
- Go to Facebook Settings → Business Integrations.
- Find RAMP AI in the list.
- Choose Remove.
This revokes our access immediately at Facebook. To also have the data we already stored deleted from our systems, disconnect in Settings as above, or email us using section 4 — removing the app at Facebook stops future access but does not by itself reach into our database.
3. Delete your whole workspace
To delete a RAMP AI workspace and everything in it — messages, files, projects, AI conversations, and every connected-platform credential — email support@theramp.ai from the address on the account with the subject Delete my workspace, or ask your workspace administrator to make the request.
We will verify that the request comes from someone entitled to make it, then delete the workspace from our active systems. We complete verified deletion requests within 30 days, and usually far sooner. Residual copies in encrypted backups are overwritten on our normal backup cycle and are gone within 90 days.
If you cancel without asking for deletion, we keep your data for 90 days so the account can be reactivated or exported, then delete or anonymise it. See our Privacy Policy for the full retention statement.
4. Ask us to delete specific data
You can ask us to delete particular personal information rather than a whole workspace — for example your own user account within a workspace that continues without you. Email support@theramp.ai and tell us what you want removed. We may ask for information to verify your identity before we act, and we will tell you what we deleted.
Some records survive a deletion request where the law requires it — billing and tax records, and security or fraud-prevention logs. We keep those for as long as we must and no longer, and we do not use them for anything else.
5. What we hold from Meta (Facebook and Instagram)
So you can see exactly what disconnecting removes, this is the whole of it:
- An access token for the Facebook account that authorised RAMP AI, stored encrypted.
- The Facebook Page you selected for publishing — its identifier and name.
- The Instagram business account linked to that Page, where one exists — its identifier and username.
- The advertising account identifier, where your workspace uses ad reporting, and the performance figures we cached for your reports.
- Posts you asked an AI agent to publish, which are created on your own Page and belong to you.
We do not sell this data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not share it with other workspaces. It is used to do the things you asked for in your own workspace.
